Basic Wash and Wax
For autos where the paint has been maintained on a regular basis.  Although this basic service will not remove as many scratches and paint flaws as our more involved services, it will work well for cars that have been maintained on a regular basis.

Wash exterior. We Remove as much bug and tar residue as possible.  Your car is hand washed and we take care to try to remove as much contaminants from the surface as possible.

Each body panel is inspected for surface contaminants that might be left over from the washing process.  These are removed prior to applying the polish.  In some instances, not all of these contaminants can be removed, depending on the length of time they have been on the paint.  We use the Zaino and Mernzerma line of polishes and sealants.

Apply tire dressing (optional).  Some people like it, some people don't.  We use a high quality Zaino based dressing which will not fly off and splatter the side of your car like most other dressings.  It will also continue to shine after multiple car washes.

Vacuum Interior

Average time spent 4-5 hours.

Exterior Detail
Take your car to the next level.  This package includes everything under the Basic Wash and expands upon that with the following items:.
Apply multiple layers of polishes and sealants.  this is more labor intensive than the basic detail as we spend more time on polishing out the paint imperfections and getting that mirror type shine for you vehicle.  On average your car gets waxed 2-4 times under this process!

We then hand remove wax and residue from around emblems, panel seams, headlights, and creveces using Microfiber cloths.   Previous waxing often has left wax buildup around door jambs, emblems and body panels which detract from the overall appearance of the car.  This is a time consuming process which requires patience and the use of various levels of Q-tip type cleaning tools to clean out this residue again giving you that 'new car showroom' look.  It is a process most often overlooked by your common detailer.

Clean and apply sealant to door jambs and fender lips.  This is something that your standard detailer may not perform.  we clean the underside of the fender lips as well as door jambs to give you that 'new car showroom' look.

Clean Rims.  In most cases, we can remove brake dust buildup.

Clean exterior of windows and mirrors

Wipe down interior services.

Claybar Treatment

Enhance any of our exterior packages with a claybar treatment.  These soap-sized bars remove brake dust particles, tree sap, overspray and airborne pollution without abrasive polishing. Used with a lubricant, these bars "pull" contamination off the surface of the paint without harming the top clear coat.  Some of these particles (brake dust, rail dust, etc) embed themselves in your car's finish. They can not be removed by routine washing, polishing or waxing.  'claying' the paint will remove these embedded items from your paint and will create an ulta-smooth finish.

Paint Restoration - Price determined based on condition of paint
Sometimes, your car just requires more work. Paint that has not been maintained can become oxidized and faded.  To restore this paint, you need to use more aggressive types of polish.  We can apply these polishes to help restore your paint.  Price is determined based on condition of the paint.

FAQ

What are the type of waxes that you use?
We primarily use the Zaino and Mernzerna line of polishes.  You won't find these at your local auto store.  We have found that these products produce the best shine and protection.  We will evaluate each car and determine the best combination to use.
 What is considered neglected paint?
Believe it or not, if you have not waxed your car in the last couple of years, it may fall under the 'damaged paint' catagory.  After this amount of time, you have more than likely not had a protective polish/sealant coat to protect your paint or clear coat.  This means micro-scratches, stains, and marring have occured on the clear coat directly.

Although we can apply a glaze and sealer on top of these imperfections, to get the maximum benefit, the clear coat should be cleaned and prepped with a more aggressive polish to remove and fill these imperfections.

Each car is different, so if your car has been stored indoors and driven only occasionally, you can go longer between waxes.

Don't be fooled in that because your car is clear-coated it can go longer between waxing.  Damage can occur to the clear-coat just as easily as it can to the paint.

How long does the polish last?
That is a subjective question.  Length of time depends on if the car is stored outstide or inside and how often you use the local car wash.  Car Washes actually have one of the most aggressive chemicals that can strip your car of it's protective sealant.

Most polishes have a life expectency of 3-6 months, again depending on element exposure.  Our polishes are some of the most durable, so they should last 6-9 months on average.  I have seen some pure show cars go 1-2 years between coats.  These are cars that may only see 200-300 miles per year.

What the heck is a claybar treatment?
'claying' is just what it sounds like.  We take specially formulated 'clay' and run it over the surface of the car.  It will remove ground-in contaminants, as well as old waxes,  from the paint that normal washing will not remove.  The end result is paint that is very smooth and shiny.  It helps provide that optically pure reflective shine.
Why use a Buffer?
We have found that a buffer, used properly, will produce a much better and deeper shine than applying the polish by hand.  We use a random orbital buffer which reduces the chances of producing paint blemishes.
